About the event
Dads Group Gwent is a support group for Dad's and other Male Carers of children with any disability or developmental difficulty. We provide opprtunities for discussion, advice, support and signposting on all aspects of family life. It provides am opportunity to meet with other dads and share experiences with people who "just get it". The group is facilitated by a father of an autistic child (now a young adult) who also has a wealth of family support experience. The group is supported by Sparkle and by Helping Hands Psychology Service for Children with Additional Needs. The group is now covering the whole Gwent region and meets twice monthly with an in person group meeting at Serennu Children's Centre (2nd Saturday of the month) and this virtual group which will be meeting over Microsoft Teams (4th Saturday of the month).
